Julia and Kevin excitedly booked us to photograph their wedding day, just over 2 weeks before their big day. Kevin proposed to Julia earlier that year after they met whilst away and Julia was finishing her studies. The wedding dress was purchased overseas and brought back to Australia as precious cargo. 

What Julia didn't realise, is that her parents, sister and her partner were going to surprise her and arrive from abroad for their wedding and spend Christmas with them. Julia did an amazing job of pulling the whole day together, whist managing to accommodate the newly arrived guests as well. 

The big day came around fast and they were wed on the 28th of December 2015 at Yindana Lakes with around 30 guests. Then it was back to a relaxed backyard reception at Kevin's folks ultimate beach front home. We whisked them away for a few moments at sunset on the beach and then back for a delicious hot meal under the festoon light and stars.

Their next wedding is in Bali later in 2016, so another exciting year to come.
